Imagine and Play with us!

Summer DaNce Program

Have some fun, learn some dance, make some art, create a story and share it with your friends and family!

This class specifically for children ages 7 - 11 explores storytelling through dance and storytelling. Children will use collaborative choreography and art to deconstruct and reconstruct the classic story Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak and put on a short child-created presentation on Friday afternoon.

Children can expect to spend the day playing community building games, learning the basics of ballet and hip-hop styles, going to the local park or splash pad and making masks and props as we recreate Max’s world in our miniature studio theater.

The 1-week theme-based session includes five days of instruction with a degree holding teachers and ballet dancers, art materials and an end-of-week showcase. Meet our staff below!
