Molly Wheat has been teaching ballet in the Boston area since 2000. Her early training in ballet was with Carol Jordan, Jill Silverman, Christiane Clark and José Mateo. In 1992, she joined José Mateo Ballet Theatre in Cambridge, Massachusetts and danced in the company for 14 years, performing featured roles in original, neo-classical ballets as well as the full-length ballets Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, The Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker.

In over 20 years of teaching ballet to all ages and levels, Molly has brought together her training under José Mateo and her own study of ballet as both an athletic pursuit and an art form. She has taught at schools including, José Mateo Ballet Theatre, The Dance Complex, The Dance Inn, The Boston Conservatory, LaPierre School of Dance, Harvard Dance Department and Jeannette Neill Dance Studio.
