Originally from Boston, Deanna Pearson has been dancing professionally for almost a decade with several prestigious companies including The English National Ballet, Staatsballett Berlin, Houston Ballet, Boston Ballet, and The Washington Ballet. She has had the opportunity to perform both group and soloist roles and has taken part in numerous international dance festivals in Europe, Asia, and the United States.
Deanna graduated with honors from the Akhmedova Ballet Academy in Silver Spring, MD and has received recognition from several international competitions such as the Youth America Grand Prix, Istanbul International Ballet Competition, and Bari Ballet Competition. Deanna has a BA from Penn State University in International Relations and is currently based in Boston freelancing and teaching as a guest artist.
Deanna teaches a Coppelia-inspired class and repertoire workshop at Northeast Arts on July 25.
