Blue Richardson was born and raised in Boston, MA, where his mission to better his community began at a young age. His first experience with community service involved working with an organization that supported troubled teens and young adults, helping them channel their time and energy into building a promising future. This passion for service carried into Blue’s early adult life, where he specialized in safer sex education and community organization for LGBTQQ youth.

Blue now resides in New York City, where he dances with the contemporary company Pigeonwing Dance under the direction of Gabrielle Lamb. He also performs with the Metropolitan Opera’s dance company. His artistry is both expansive and versatile, driven by a fascination with the human condition. Through his work, Blue seeks to illuminate the relationship between mind and body, prioritizing collaboration and emphasizing individuality as the key to progress.
