Anjuli Cirio began her dance training at Elmhurst School for Dance in Surrey, United Kingdom. At 16, she continued her training at English National Ballet School in London. In 2007, Anjuli joined English National Ballet. 

During her 15 years with the company, Anjuli performed in numerous cities all over the world including Moscow, Paris, Auckland, Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Chicago, New York, Beijing and many more. She had the privilege of working with world-renowned choreographers and has appeared in classical and contemporary works including Pina Bausch’s Le Sacre du Printemps, Kenneth MacMillan’s Song of the Earth, William Forsythe’s In the Middle Somewhat Elevated, Russell Maliphant’s Second Breath, Rudolf Nuryev’s Romeo & Juliet, Christopher Wheeldon’s Cinderella, Derek Deane’s Swan Lake In-The-Round, Roland Petit’s Carmen, Harald Lander’s Etudes and August Bournonville’s La Sylphide.

As a dancer, Anjuli worked with Akram Khan and performed in the three works he created for English National Ballet. Dust (2014), Giselle (2016) and Creature (2021). In 2022, Anjuli decided to continue her work for Khan in a new capacity as Rehearsal Director, staging his works in ballet companies around the world.

In 2007, Anjuli performed at the Concert for Diana at Wembley Stadium. In 2011, she performed for HM The Queen at Buckingham Palace. In 2012, she performed in London’s Opening Ceremony for the Olympics. She has also performed at Glastonbury Festival in Akram Khan’s ‘Dust’ in 2014. In 2015, Anjuli was a Finalist in English National Ballet’s ‘Emerging Dancer’ Competition.
